L.U.V MADONNA...

MDNA est le 12ème album de l'artiste pop Madonna. La sortie mondiale de celui-ci est prévue pour le 26 mars 2012. Le cover qui été révélé le 30 janvier 2012 n'est pas le cover de l'album simple mais de l'édition Deluxe sur le site de téléchargement iTunes. Pour ce nouvel opus Madonna a quitté Warner Bros. Records pour le label Interscope Records. Pour MDNA, elle a collaboré avec le talentueux William Orbit, qui lui a notamment produit l'album Ray Of Light en 1998. Mais comme sur presque sur chacun de ses albums, elle fait appel à un frenchy; il s'agit de Martin Solveig. Sur cet album il a produit 6 titres dont le premier single; Give Me All Your Luvin'. Ce titre, elle le partage avec deux jeunes artistes américaines: Nicky Minjag et M.I.A. Nous relevons aussi la participation de Mika, jeune talent français sur le titre Gang Bang ou encore de Benny Bennassi sur plusieurs titres.

Pour promouvoir ce titre, elle enregistre un clip très fun et décalé avec le groupe de réalisateurs français: MEGAFORCE. Madonna a réalisé un film magnifique qui se nomme W./E. et elle a enregistré un titre pour la B.O de celui ci. Il s'agit de Masterpiece qui figure sur MDNA. Mais pour vraiment lancer la promo de cette nouvelle ère musicale madonnienne, elle signe une époustouflante prestation au Super Bowl à Indianapolis, le 5 février 2012, pendant la mi-temps. Pour cela, elle collabore avec le Cirque du Soleil, Moment Factory et Jamie King.

Pour le moment, le premier single ·Give me all your luvin" est en téléchargement sur le web, notamment sur iTunes mais également disponible en support physique depuis le 6 mars. Lors de sa sortie, le titre se classe dans le TOP 10 des morceaux les plus téléchargés et cela dans plus de 50 pays.

Concernant l'album, une pré-commande a été lancée sur iTunes, pour la version Deluxe de l'album. Là aussi, elle créé le buzz total et devient n°1 dans 49 pays en seulement quelques heures. Madonna vient d'établir un nouveau record, celui du plus grand nombre de Nº1 sur itunes. Nous donnerons plus d'informations sur cet album dans les semaines qui viennent et surtout dès que l'album sera disponible.

Depuis le 2 mars, le deuxième single Girl Gone Wild est disponible pour le Canada, USA et Mexique, le titre est co-produit avec Benny Benassi. Le clip de ce titre sortira le 19 mars 2012 à l'international avec un clip en noir et blanc réalisé par Mert & Marcus.

Les critiques musicales sont unanimes pour dire qu'avec MDNA, Madonna reste la Reine inconditionnelle de la Pop ! Ils saluent son retour avec un album non pas révolutionnaire mais qui lui ressemble vraiment mêlant à la fois un esprit fun , mais aussi un coté beaucoup plus sombre comme en témoigne le titre Love Spent.

4 minutes to save the world....

Le 11ème album de Madonna se prénomme "Hard Candy", il est mis en vente au niveau mondiale le 28 avril 2008. Madonna s'entoure alors de producteurs très en vogue à l'époque: Timbaland, Pharrell Williams et Justin Timberlake. Le style de l'album est pop urbain, R&B, up-tempo, hippy hop. L'album contient 12 pistes dont 3 qui seront commercialisées en singles; 4 Minutes, Give It 2 Me et Miles Away. Cet album est l'un des derniers produits qu'elle sortira sous la marque Warner.

L'album reçoit des critiques mitigées accusant Madonna d'avoir choisie la facilité en choississant les producteurs les plus en vogue. Toutefois l'album sera n°1 dans 37 pays dont les Etats Unis ou encore le Royaume Uni ou le Canada. Les ventes sont moindres que pour les précédents albums, il faut dire que l'industrie du disque connait une crise avec le piratage et l'exploitation musicale sur internet. En France l'album est n°1 pendant 6 semaines consécutives. Mondialement, l'album se vend à plus de 4.5 millions d'exemplaires, dont 1 million de copies aux Etats Unis. Pour promouvoir cet album, Madonna s'associe avec Samsung et l'album est vendu sur le modèle F-400, sur une carte micro-SD.

Beaucoup de buzz ont été faits autour de "Hard Candy". Notamment pour le nom de l'album, il était question de l'appeller: Madame, Black Madonna ou encore Licorice. Un titre inédit sera commercialisé sur édition spéciale au Japon; il s'agit de Ring My Bell. Ce titre sera aussi téléchargable sur iTunes. Quelque mois plus tard d'autres titres et démos inédits sortiront sur internet; Infinity, Across The Sky, Animal et Latte.

Madonna, pour faire découvrir "Hard Candy" à ses fans, donne le coup d'envoie d'une nouvelle tournée mondiale; Sticky and Sweet Tour, en juillet 2008. Elle visitera pour l'occasion des pays dont elle n'était pas allée depuis plus d'une décennie; l'Argentine ou encore le Brésil ou encore Israël en 2009.

Histoire de la tournée la plus lucrative pour un artiste

The Sticky and Sweet Tour est la 8ème tournée de Madonna, celle-ci débute sur le sol européen à Cardiff (Royaume-Uni), le 23 août 2008. La tournée est divisée en deux parties, la 2ème se jouant pendant l'été 2009, uniquement sur le sol européen, et qui se termine le 2 septembre 2009, à Tel Aviv (Israël). L'album qui est exploité pour ce world tour est Hard Candy. Mais Madonna chantera d'anciens titres comme Bordeline ou (Get) into thé Groove. Il s'agit par ailleurs de la tournée la plus lucrative pour un artiste, elle a engendré 408 millions de dollars de bénéfices. Par ailleurs, The Queen of The Pop foulera le continent de l'Amérique du Sud, où elle n'était pas venue depuis plus d'une décennie. La tournée est annoncée par son manager et Live Nation (société qui produit la tournée), le 08 mai 2008. Elle se donnera principalement dans de grands stades, comme à Paris, au Stade de France.

La tournée est basée sur quatre thèmes.

Le show commence par un backdrop "Sweet Machine", où Madonna n'apparaît pas. Elle arrive sur scène, sur un trône avec spectre à la main et une tenue quelque dominatrice, en chantant Candy Shop et est toujours entourée de ses remarquables danseurs. Le thème qui est ici abordé est Pimp. Par la suite, Madonna chante Beat Goes On et remet au goût du jour Human Nature et Vogue. Le titre sera mixé Human Nature avec Gimme More interprété par la chanteuse Britney Spears qui enregistrera un backdrop, qui sera d'ailleurs diffusé sur les énormes écrans de la scène. Deux énormes M sont installés de chaque coté de la scène et change de couleurs au fil que le show avance.

L'interlude video Die Another Day finit juste, que Madonna débarque pour le 2ème thème de sa tournée qui se veut Old School. Elle signe une magnifique chorégraphie sur le titre (Get) Into thé Groove, en sautant même à la corde, et invite le public à chanter. Pendant ce volet Old School, Madonna signera une performance incroyable sur She's Not Me. Sur ce titre, des danseuses sont relookées pour représenter les différentes époques que Madonna a parcourue en tant que chanteuse (l'époque Like a Virgin ou encore Material Girl). Petit geste de provocation habituel chez elle et que les fans adorent, elle embrassera une de ses danseuses.

Le 3ème thème qui est arboré est le thème Gypsy. Pour l'occasion Madonna porte une magnifique robe noire avec beaucoup de couleurs roses, bleues, et jaunes flashies. Elle interprète notamment le titre Spanish Lesson issu de Hard Candy. Pour ce titre, elle danse avec des hommes habillés en moines. Elle chante aussi la magnifique balade Miles Away que le public apprécie énormément. Comme à presque chaque tournée, elle réinvente le tire La Isla Bonita. Elle reprend pour ce titre, la performance qu'elle avait faite pour le Live Earth en 2008, avec les Gogols Bordellos. En Argentine, à Buenos Aires, elle ajoutera à ce thème, le titre Don't Cry For Me Argentina (titre qu'elle avait enregistré pour le film Evita, où elle tenait le premier rôle).

Pour clore cet incroyable show, elle performe sur le thème Rave Party. Celui-ci commence avec le backdrop Get Stupid, pour lequel elle enregistrera un vidéo clip. Elle y campe un personnage fort, qui regarde les atrocités qui se passent dans le monde. Elle en profite pour dénoncer les régimes politiques autoritaires, tels qu'en Corée du Nord, et défend la cause des black dans la société. Beaucoup de références sont utilisées et elle soutient ouvertement le candidat démocratique Barack Obama, pour l'élection américaine de 2008. Par ailleurs, le parti républicain va crier au scandale, car son candidat John Mc Cain et présent dans le backdrop peut de temps après le dictateur Hitler. Sur ce thème, Madonna interprète 4 Minutes ou encore Like A Prayer qu'elle transforme totalement. Un request est même présent, elle demande à ses fans, quelle titre ils ont envie qu'elle chante. Give It 2 Me clôt le spectacle, Madonna signe encore une fois une chorégraphie endiablée avec ses danseurs et prend beaucoup de plaisir. Elle descend même de la scène pour faire chanter ses fans. Elle disparait alors de la scène derrière l'écran où elle est apparu sur Candy Shop. GAME OVER est affiché après presque deux heures d'un show unique.

Anecdotes

C'est la maison de couture, Givenchy qui signera les costumes de Madonna pour cette tournée.

Au niveau des apparitions de guests, c'est Pharell Williams le premier, qui rejoint Madonna sur scène a New-York, puis Britney Spears et Justin la rejoignent à Los Angeles, et enfin Timbaland et à nouveau Pharell à Miami. Le public américain est totalement secoué par le passage de la Madone. La tournée remporte un vif succès.

Durant la tournée américaine, en pleine période d'élections, Madonna s'implique beaucoup dans la course à la Maison Blanche: l'Interlude Get Stupid, tout aussi assassine que sa soeur "Sorry (Remix)" au Confessions Tour, est mise en ligne sur Madonna.com et fait parler d'elle. De même, Madonna critique ouvertement John Mc Cain et Sarah Palin en plein concert, porte des t-shirt spécial Obama sur scène, et enfin, célèbre la victoire de Barak Obama en direct pendant le concert de San Diego.

3500 éléments de garde-robe, 653 heures de répétition, 250 membres du staff, 200 éponges à maquiller, 180 Q-Tips (3 par nuit), 120 fars à joues, 100 paires de genouillères, 69 guitares, 36 couturiers, 30 camions pour les costumes, 28 personnes sur scène maximum, 20 nationalités représentées, 16 traiteurs, 12 couturières, 12 trampolines, 10 caisses de médicaments, 10 guitares avec lesquelles Madonna voyagera, 8 changements de costumes majeurs pour Madonna, 5 personnes pour aider Madonna à se changer, 5 clavier sur scène pour Kevin Antunes, directeur musical, 4 freezers, 4 rouge à lèvres Yves Saint Laurent, 3 musiciens roumains acoustiques, 2 équipements pour DJ, 2 scènes, 1.5 minutes - plus court instant pour changer de costume, 1 chiropracteur, 1 entraineur personnel, 1 masseuse, 1 casque de DJ orné de cristaux Swarovski, et un total de perles Swarovsky revenant à 1 262 645€.

Pendant, un de ses concerts New York, Madonna distribue des préservatifs avec la tête de Sarah Palin dessus et lui dit qu'elle n'est pas la bienvenue à son concert.

A Zurich, le 30 août 2008, Madinna donne le plus grand concert jamais organisé en Suisse, avec 70.000 spectateurs.

A Lisbonne, Madonna tombe sur les fesses pendant qu'elle interprète Hung Up. A Rome, Madonna décide de dédier sa chanson Like A Virgin au Pape Benoit XVI.

Pendant l'un de spectacle joué au Brésil, Madonna portera le T-shirt n°10 de l'équipe de football américain. Pendant le dernier concert donné à Tel Aviv, Madonna fait monter sur scène sa fille; Lourdes. Elle jouera au piano le titre Devil Wouldn't Recognize You et dansera sur Give It 2 Me.

Pendant le concert qu'elle donne à Bucarest, Madonna se fait huer par le public après avoir défendu les Roms.

La mort de Michael Jackson en juin 2009, émeut le monde entier, Madonna décide alors de lui rendre hommage. Cet hommage, elle lui rend sur le titre Holiday, un de ses danseurs se déguise alors en King of The Pop et il danse sur le medley Billie Jean, Another Part Of Me et Wannabe Startin' Something.

Le 16 juillet 2009, la scène du Sticky and Sweet Tour était en construction en vue d'un concert quelques jours plus tard, à Marseille. Celle-ci s'écroule et fait deux morts et huit blessés. Madonna se rendra chez les familles touchées par le drame.

Modification du show

Madonna repartira sur les routes d'Europe en Juillet 2009. Le coup d'envoi sera donné à la O2 Arena à Londres, et la tournée passera par des villes où Madonna n'est pas, ou peu passée. Les fans européens sont conquis. Le show va subir quelque changements. La tenue qu'elle porte pour la partie Pimp, est modifiée ainsi que la coiffure. Sur le thème Old School, Madonna abandonne le short, pour la jupette rouge, ce qui est plus classe. Des changements sont réalisés aussi au niveau de la Set List. Elle chantera Holiday et Dress You Up à la place de Hearbeat & Bordeline. C'est pendant l'interprétation de Holiday, qu'elle rend hommage à Mickael Jackon (voir texte ci-dessus). Frozen remplace Hung Up, ce qui ravis encore plus les fans. Le backdrop de "Get Stupid" est aussi modifié, avec de nouvelles images. Il reprend notamment les images de la révolte iranienne et inclus "Where is my vote?". Le request est quand à lui supprimé. Cette tournée uniquement européenne est un véritable triomphe. Madonna devait se produire au Stade Vélodrome de Marseille, le 19 juillet 2009, mais pendant le montage de la scène, celle-ci s'est effondrée (voir texte ci-dessus).

Oh mother, oh Father…

Louise Veronica Ciccone alias Madonna est né le 16 aout 1958 à Bay City dans le Michigan aux USA. Ses parents, Vittorio d’origine italienne est employé chez Chrysler, tandis que sa mère Madonna Louise Fortin d’origine Canadienne décèdera des suites d’un cancer du sein alors que Madonna n’était âgée que de 6 ans. Madonna grandit dans une famille nombreuse et fait ses études dans une école catholique. De part cette éducation catholique, Madonna va très vite se passionner par les bonnes sœurs voulant même jusqu’à devenir l’une des leurs.

Vittorio, son père se remarie avec Joan Gustalfon en 1966. Madonna va très mal acceptée sa «maman ». Cela n’empêche pas de poursuivre ses études dans un lycée public de Rocheter. A ce moment là elle devient plus sociable, elle a de bons résultats scolaires et elle est appréciée par ses camarades.

A la fin des cours elle se rend à des cours de danse. Pau le dirigeant des ballets va rapidement devenir une personne clé de l’entourage de Madonna. D’ailleurs elle dit de lui « Paul m’a inculqué le véritable amour de la danse et une grande confiance en moi ». Grâce à ses conseils, en 1978 Madonna part pour New-York alors qu’elle n’a que 17 ans. Elle s’inscrit à la «Alvin Ailey Dance Company » elle y décroche une bourse d’apprentissage. Afin d’arrondir ses fins de mois elle travaille chez Dunkin Donuts. Avec l’argent gagnait, elle change d’hôtel et s’installe près de Greenwick village. Elle rencontre Don Gilroy dont la passion est la musique. Ce dernier joue dans un groupe avec son frère Ed depuis 4 ans à Corona dans le Queens. Madonna va devoir délaisser un peu la danse pour faire de la musique.

Born to be alive !

Sa quête de célébrité l’amène chez Patrick Hernandez, célèbre pour le tube «Born to be alive ». Le succès est tel que P.Hernandez monte un spectacle pour la France. Pour cela il a besoin de choristes et de danseurs. Madonna fera partie du lot. Mais le rêve est de courte durée, le second single de Hernandez est un échec total, Madonna doit donc poursuivre sa quête.

I Love New York…

Elle retourne aux USA changée. Elle devient rebelle et adopte un look punk. Elle devient batteuse d’un groupe de musique «Breakfast club». Elle commence à intéresser les producteurs mais les opportunités ne sont pas assez intéressantes pour Madonna qui préfère continuer à provoquer la chance. Pour cela elle s’installe à Manhattan avec son ami Steve Bray, de là elle créait un nouveau groupe qui va changer plusieurs fois de noms «les millionnaires »; «Modern Dance» pour finir «Emmy». Une nouvelle fois elle est approchée par les producteurs mais là encore elle préfère garder son indépendance musicale.

You can dance …

A partir de ce moment, elle fréquente souvent la boite «Danceteria », elle rencontre le Dj MarK Kemins. Elle va lui parler de son enregistrement sur K7 d’un titre nommé «EVERYBODY». Le Dj profite de ses nombreuses relations dans le milieu et conseil à Madonna d’enregistrer ce titre en studio. Elle s’exécute, elle rencontre Seymour Stein qui va lui donner son premier contrat avec le label sire pour deux 45 tours. A 23 ans elle sort «EVERYBODY» qui est un énorme succès. De ce fait elle enchaine avec «BURNING UP» et «PHYSICAL ATTRACTION» . De là sort son premier album intitulait «Madonna». Cet album est très bien accueillit par les médias et le public.

Come on baby …

Le 14 septembre 1985 Madonna est nominée aux oscars dans la catégorie meilleure vidéo d’une jeune artiste pour «BORDERLINE» mais elle repartira bredouille.

Touch for the very first time…

Madonna enchaine avec un 2^nd album pour lequel elle fait équipe avec le célèbre producteur Niles Rodgers. Cet album sera intitulé « Like a Virgin ». A sa sortie, c’est un carton, il devient numéro 1 des ventes pendant 6 semaines. C’est en 1985 que la carrière de Madonna va réellement commencer. Elle fait ses comptes en 1987, elle aura fait 117 couvertures des plus grands magasines. Ne voulant pas s’arrêter là, elle s’essaie au cinéma.

Get into the groove !

Madonna donne la réplique à Rosanna Arquette dans le film «Recherche Susan désespérément» . Le long métrage est un succès. Madonna signera la B.O «INTO THE GROOVE ». Dans la même année des photos de Madonna dans le plus simple appareil datant de 1977 refont surface dans de nombreux magasine comme playboy. Mais cela n’empêche pas les ventes de son album qui sont un records. On compte 10 millions aux USA et 12 millions pour le reste du monde. En 1985 «Like a Virgin » sera réédité afin d’y inclure « GET INTO THE GROOVE ».

I am crazy for you…

La presse, les médias et les fans commencent à s’intéresser à sa vie amoureuse qui est assez mouvementée. Madonna vit une histoire passionnée qui va devenir violente avec le célèbre Sean Penn. Les deux amants terribles vont se marier en 1985. Mais hélas le tumulte aura raison de leur union. 4 ans plus tard le couple divorce. Le divorce comme le mariage sera très médiatisé.

Dress you up !

Madonna part en tournée "The Virgin Tour" qui sera joué sur le sol américain. C’est la 1^ère fois qu’elle va rencontrer son public. Les organisateurs ont sous estimé sa popularité et se retrouvent rapidement débordés. Ils doivent chercher des salles plus grandes, augmenter le nombre de billets et produire des produits dérivés. Elle participe à la lutte contre le sida lors de concerts avec d'autres stars au Live Aid. Madonna devient LA star incontournable et provocante.

Last night i dropped to San Pedro …

En 1986 tout le monde pense le phénomène Madonna terminé. C’est mal la connaitre. Elle revient avec un nouvel album «True blue ». La plupart des titres vont devenir des tubes planétaires et cela va lui permettre de venir la plus grande artiste féminine de son époque notamment grâce à «PAPA DON’T PREACH » ; « LIVE TO TELL » ; «OPEN YOUR HEART » et surtout « LA ISLA BONITA». Mais le succès ne serait rien sans la controverse. Les paroles et les vidéoclips vont faire couler beaucoup d’encres. Peu importe, l’album va se vendre à 20 millions d’exemplaires. Il reste le plus vendu de toute sa carrière. En 1987 pour la première fois, Madonna part en tournée internationale avec le «Who that’s a girl tour ». Cette tournée comptera 39 concerts et 2 millions de spectateurs.

Deux ans plus tard, en 1989, elle revient avec «Like a Prayer ». Le monde entier l’acclame. Le titre du même nom va contribuer à l’image provocante de Madonna. Ses changements de looks et provocation font d’elle une partisane de la libération sexuelle de la femme. «Like a prayer » devient n°1 dans plusieurs pays et est considéré comme étant l’album le plus ambitieux de la décennie. Quant au clip accompagnant le titre « LIKE A PRAYER», il fait scandale car Madonna y embrasse un Jésus noir et il question de la religion chrétienne. Le second single de l’album «EXPRESS YOURSELF » est un immense succès planétaire aussi. Le clip accompagnant le titre sera l’un des plus chers. Ce clip a été réalisé par le réalisateur David Fincher.

Come on boys, do you believe in love ?

En 1990 Madonna revient sur scène avec le mythique « BLOND AMBITION TOUR ». Le spectacle mêle ses plus grands tubes avec d’énormes provocations notamment la scène de la masturbation sur « LIKE A VIRGIN ». Cela lui vaudra plusieurs menaces d’arrestation notamment à Toronto. Le Vatican fera même annuler un de ses concerts à Rome. Madonna avec cette tournée rendre véritablement dans l'Histoire de culture Pop. La tournée fait l’objet d’un documentaire « IN BED WITH MADONNA » ou « TRUTH OR DARE » . On y voit les backstages et les performances live mais aussi des moments plus intimistes (quand elle va se recueillir sur la tombe de sa mère).

Come on Vogue !

Dans la même année Madonna revient au cinéma aux côtés de Warren Betty dans «Dick Tracy ». Encore une fois Madonna signe la B.O « I'm Breathless ». S’en suivra d’un album du même nom ou l’on retrouvera l’énorme succès «VOGUE ».

1990 sera une année très productive pour la Madone. En effet, un premier best-of voit le jour « THE IMMACULATE COLLECTION ». Il se vendra à 27 millions d’exemplaires dans le monde. Pour promouvoir ce best-of Madonna enregistre « JUSTIFY MY LOVE » et tourne le clip dirigé par Mondino, un français. Le clip se déroule dans un hôtel parisien et Madonna joue la carte de la provocation extrême. Le vidéoclip sera censuré. En 1991 Madonna créé son propre label MAVERICK et dans la même année sortira « IN BED WITH MADONNA ».

Hi my name is Dita …

En 1992 Madonna revient sur le devant de la scène avec l’album “EROTICA” et le livre “SEX”. Le livre met en scène Madonna dans le plus simple appareil et dans des positions plus que suggestives. Le livre est un carton et est rapidement en rupture de stock. Cependant sous demande de Madonna il ne sera jamais ré-imprimé. Le livre aura été réalisé en collaboration avec son ami photographe Steven Miesel. L’album ne connait pas le même succès. Les fans commencent à se lasser de voir toujours Madonna aussi provocante. Pour l'époque, l'album sera échec relatif vu qu’il s’est vendu à 6 millions d’exemplaires.

Pour faire oublier la période sexe et l'album précédent, Madonna sort un nouvel album en 1994: « BEDTIME STORIES ». L’album est très personnel et s’inscrit dans une tendance pseudo rap. Elle collabora avec Bjork, Babyface et Nellee Hopper. Le titre "Human Nature" est le plus emblématique de l'album avec "Secret". Bien consciente d’avoir trop choquée, Madonna veut redorer son image. Pour ça elle sort « SOMETHING TO REMEMBER » une compilation de ses meilleures balades.

You must love me …

Dans la même année elle retrouve le cinéma pour le rôle le plus important de sa vie, celui d’Eva Perron dans « EVITA » d’Andrew Lloyd Webber. Dans ce film Madonna donne la réplique au très connu Antonio Banderas. Cette interprétation lui vaudra le golden globe de la meilleure actrice. Pour la B.O du film elle enregistrera les titres "You Must Love Me" et "Don't Cry For Me Argentina". A la fin du tournage Madonna annonce qu’elle attend un heureux évènement.

Little Star...

Lourdes Maria voit le jour le 14 octobre 1996. Le père n’est autre que le coach sportif de Madonna, Carlos Leon. Le couple ne restera pas ensemble après la naissance de la petite.

Quicker than a ray of light …

Après 2 ans d’absence et un bébé, Madonna fait son come back avec « RAY OF LIGHT» en collaboration avec William Orbit. Cet album sera considéré comme le meilleur sa carrière. En effet, dans cet album Madonna évoque la maternité, la Kabbale et beaucoup de choses intimes de son existence. L’album se vendra à 18 millions d’albums, autant dire que c’est un énorme succès. La plupart des titres deviennent des tubes « RAY OF LIGHT » , « THE POWER OF GOODBYE » et surtout « FROZEN ». Les titres seront accompagnés de clips sobres et mystiques.

Haven’t me met !

En 1999 on fait appel à elle pour signer la B.O du film "Austin Power". Madonna enregistre « BEAUTIFUL STRANGER ». Toujours dans le cinéma, Madonna donne la réplique à son ami l’acteur Rupert Everett dans « UN COUPLE PRESQUE PARFAIT ». Encore une fois Madonna signe la B.O avec le titre « AMERICAN PIE ».

Hey mister DJ …

A l’aube du nouveau millénaire notre Queen Of Pop nous surprend toujours plus. Madonna tape fort avec l’album « MUSIC » en collaboration avec Mirwais Ahmadzai un français. On y retrouve aussi William Orbit. Là encore le succès est au rendez-vous. Le titre "Music" devient un tube mondial. D'autres tous aussi sublimes seront dans cet album comme "Paradise (Not For Me)" ou "Don't Tell Me".

My substitute for love …

La meme année Madonna devient Madame Guy Ritchie. Le couple se marie en Ecosse en décembre déjà parent d’un petit Rocco né en Aout 2000. Toute la famille s’installe à Londres.

Univers is full of stars …

En 2001 elle repart en tournée internationale avec « DROWNED WORLD TOUR ». Elle n'avait pas fait de tournée depuis 8 ans. Les places s’arrachent en un temps record. Le spectacle est jugé sombre et un peu court mais incroyablement théâtral. Elle interprète ses derniers albums… Madonna actrice, Chanteuse et maintenant écrivaine. La maternité va inspirer Madonna qui va écrire plusieurs livres pour enfants « LES ROSES ANGLAISES ». Le livre se vend plutôt bien.

It’s not my time to go !

Une nouvelle apparition cinématographique pour Madonna , dans le film James bond “ MEURT UN AUTRE JOUR”. Madonna encore une fois signe la B.O "DIE ANTHOER DAY" . Sort peu après l’album « AMERICAN LIFE » . Dans cet album Madonna prend ouvertement position contre la guerre en Irak et la politique de G.W Bush. Madonna va s’auto censurer pour la première fois pour le clip « AMERICAN LIFE » jugé assez violent. Une version plus sobre sera diffusé sur MTV. Le titre "Hollywood" sortira en single.

L’album ne trouvera pas son public aux USA, les médias vont le boycotter. Mais en France, l’album est un succès. Madonna sera touché par ce soutien et ne manquera pas de le souligner. En 2003 arrive « REMIX AND REVISITED ». C’est un album regroupant des remix mais également de nouvelles collaborations comme « INTO THE GROOVE » avec Missy Elliot.

Madonna reçoit un NRJ MUSIC AWARDS pour l’ensemble de sa carrière. Madonna présente à Cannes fait un discours touchant « Mes ambitions sont américaines, Je suis peut être mariée à un anglais, mais mon cœur est à la France. »

Be hold, I’m coming soon …

En 2004 elle voyage à travers le monde avec sa nouvelle tournée; « RE-INVENTION TOUR ». Les billets s’arrachent, le spectacle est merveilleux. Madonna se donne pendant 58 dates et interprète ses plus grands tubes. La tournée sera suivie d’un documentaire « I’M GOING TO TELL YOU A SECRET » un mélange de prestations live et de backstage. En 2005 Madonna reste très engagée et participe au Live 8 à Londres. Ce concert à but caritatif regroupe les plus grandes stars. Madonna interprète « MUSIC » , « LIKE A PRAYER » et « RAY OF LIGHT »

Times goes by so slowly…

Justocorps rose, résilles et brushing à la Farah Fawcette. C'est le nouveau look de Madonna pour son nouvel album « CONFESSIONS ON A DANCEFLOOR ». Elle enflamme les charts, l’album est n°1 dans 41 pays et se vend à 9 millions d’exemplaires. Le 1 er single « HUNG UP » contenant des samples d’Abba se place dans tous les tops 10. L’album est très bien ficelé grâce au génie Stuart Price. Les critiques sont excellentes et Madonna prouve encore une fois qu'elle s'est se réinventée.

Madonna annonce en fin d’année chez Ellen DeGeneres « I can’t hide this any more, i will go on tour next summer ». L’annonce de la tournée est un évènement. En 2006, sort « I’M GOING TO TELL YOU A SECRET », pour la première fois un DVD est accompagné d’un CD live.

Are you confessed?

Madonna part en tournée avec “THE CONFESSIONS TOUR” . Les tickets s’arrachent en un temps record. Madonna a pour ambition de transformer les plus grandes salles du monde en dancefloor. La tournée est encore une fois un triomphe énorme. La provocation est toujours présente avec notamment "Live To Tell" chanté sur une croix disco. Madonna portera même une couronne d'épines. Dans la foulée elle part au Malawi, pays dévasté par le Sida, elle y adopte David.

Honorable Majesté ...

En Mars 2007 Madonna met un pied dans la mode en créant en partenariat avec la marque suédoise H&M une collection de vêtements. La collection se nomme «M, by Madonna». Afin de promouvoir ce projet Madonna enregistre un spot publicitaire et organise des shooting avec les danseurs du Confessions. En 2007 toujours le 7 juillet plus précisément, elle participe au Live Earth à Londres, lors de ce concert caritatif qui a pour but de sensibiliser le peuple au réchauffement climatique Madonna interprète «HEY YOU» une chanson spécialement écrite pour l’occasion.

We have only four minutes, to save the world !

En avril 2008 , Madonna sort «HARD CANDY» le 11 ème album studio de la reine de la pop. Cette fois ci pas de producteurs inconnus et de styles bien identifiés, Madonna s’entoure des grosse pointures pour renouer avec le public Américain (Pharell Williams, Justin Timberlake, Timbaland..). Malgré les noms alléchants, l’album ne sera pas un véritable succès, Madonna sera accusé d’avoir bâclé cet opus et d’avoir choisit la facilité. Cependant quelques tubes sortent de cet album, «4 minutes» avec Justin Timberlake ou encore "Give It 2 Me" avec Pharell Williams.

Peu de temps après la sortie de l'album elle par en tournée avec «THE STICKY AND SWEET TOUR» le coup d’envoi est lancé à Cardiff le 23 août 2008 et sera sa plus longue tournée, elle va s’étendre sur 2 ans (2008-2009). Elle aura rendu visite par 2 fois à l’Europe, et ira en Amérique Latine qu’elle n’avait pas vu depuis 13 ans. Même si l’album n’était pas un succès, la tournée elle a su trouvé son public.

I am because, we are ...

En parallèle elle a co-produit un documentaire avec Nathan Rissman sur le malawi «I am because we are» , ce documentaire a été présenté à Cannes et à reçu de bonnes critiques. De là Madonna créait l’association «RAISING MALAWI» qui a pour vocation de récolter des fonds pour aider ce pays en grandes difficultés. Elle revient également au cinéma en tant que réalisatrice pour la première fois avec « Obscénité et Vertu».

You always love me more ...

En 2008 Guy Ritchie et Madonna divorcent, après près de 8 ans de mariage et deux enfants (Rocco et David).

COME JOIN THE PARTY !

En 2009, elle décide de prolonger sa tournée "STICKY AND SWEET TOUR" qui s'arrête le 2 septembre 2009 à Tel Aviv. La tournée se déroule uniquement sur le sol européen avec des pays encore non visités comme la Belgique ou la Suisse. Le succès est toujours là.

Madonna et Warner sortent une compilation de ses meilleurs titres sous le nom« Celebration » , le but faire patienter les fans et matérialiser la fin du contrat Madonna/Warner. Pour l’occasion Madonna retourne en studio et enregistre deux nouveaux titres «Celebration» et «Revolver». Le français David Guetta va d'ailleurs remixer ces deux titres, qui seront beaucoup joués en radio. Le clip de «Celebration» est tourné pendant le world tour, l’un des versions a été tourné avec des fans à Milan et Barcelone.

Début 2009, la petite Mercy rejoint le clan de Madonna, ce qui fait le 4ème enfant de la chanteuse. Elle décide de créer une «Académie For girl» afin de promouvoir l’éducation des jeunes filles dans ce pays.

Nobody knows me ...

En 2010 alors que tout le monde attends un nouvel album, Madonna annonce dans le magazine «Interview» qu’elle souhaite faire une pause musicale pour se consacrer à un nouveau projet, un film «W.E». Ce film narre l’histoire de la duchesse de Windsor et le duc Edouard, roi déchu. Un amour impossible et semé d’embûches. Le film sera tourné durant l’été au Royaume Uni, à NYC mais aussi à Paris et dans le Sud de la France.

Cause we’r living in a material world and I am a ...

Material girl, c’est la marque de vêtements crée par Madonna et Lourdes en partenariat avec les grands magasins Macy’s. A l’occasion une grande campagne est organisée, et une soirée d’inauguration a lieu à NYC en présence de Madonna et Lourdes. De plus le partenariat «MDG» voit le jour, Dolce & Gabbana et Madonna créent une marque de lunettes de soleil.

Rock your Body !

En novembre 2010 Madonna inaugure son premier centre de fitness à Mexico baptisé « HARD CANDY FITNESS», c’est le premier d’une chaine de salle de sports à travers le monde. Moscou et Saint Petersbourg vont avoir leurs centres et d’autres sont à prévoir dans le reste du monde. Le 17 décembre 2010 Madonna publie un message sur son site officiel et sur le twitter de Guy Oseary «C’est officiel j’ai besoin de bouger, de suer ...». Madonna annonce son retour sur la scène musicale, elle recherche activement des producteurs.

Yes, W.E can

En février 2011 Madonna vient à Berlin présenter quelques extraits de «W.E», cette projection va également lui servir à trouver divers distributeurs à travers le monde. En Juin 2011, The Westein Company annonce avoir acheté acquis les droits de «W.E» pour le sol américain. Madonna depuis la fin de l'été 2011 fait la promotion de son film sur le globe. Elle l'a présenté à la Mostra de Venise, au festival du cinéma à Montréal au Canada, au Royaume Uni et à New York. En France, c'est Pretty Pictures qui a acquis les droits du film, une sortie en salles est prévue pour mai 2012. Les ctitiques sont élogieuses surtout sur les costumes du films. Pour l'occasion, elle a enregistrée un titre "MasterPiece" qui sera inclu sur son nouve album.

The queen is back...

Notre Queen va commercialiser un parfum au printemps 2012 "True Of Dare". Le projet était annoncé depuis plusieurs années, c'est désormais chose faite. Le flacon est d'ailleurs assez provocant, il possède la forme d'un cercueil avec une croix. Par ailleurs, elle aussi commercialisé des sacs à mains pour femme ainsi que des chaussures.

Guy Oseary rassure les fans via son twitter, Madonna rentre en studio en Juillet pour son 12ème opus. Pour signer son grand retour, Madonna s'entoure de personnes talentueuses; William Orbit, Martin Solveig... Elle collabore aussi avec deux chanteuses américaines; M.I.A et Nicki Minaj. L'attente est énorme. A l'automne 2011, la démo d'un titre fuite sur la toile. Il s'agit de "Give All Your Luvin". L'accueil est très positif même s'il ne s'agit que d'une démo. Début décembre le clip est tourné à New York, par un groupe de français "MegaForce". Le 5 février 2012, Madonna se produit au Super Bowl à Indianapolis aux États Unis et signe un record d'audience à la TV. Un show hors norme est créé avec "Le Cirque du Soleil". L'album sortira le 26 mars 2012. La nouvelle tournée se nomme: Madonna World Tour et va parcourir une grande partie du globe. Elle devrait se produire notamment en Australie. Le 15 janvier 2012, Madonna reçoit un Golden Globe pour le titre "Masterpiece" qu'elle a enregistré pour son film "W./E". Les première critiques concernant l'album MDNA sont très positives et saluent le retour de la Queen of The Pop.

Histoire d'un show énorme

The Confession Tour est la 7ème tournée mondiale de Madonna. Elle commence sur le sol américain, à Los Angeles, le 26 mai 2006 & se termine le 21 septembre 2006 à Tokyo au Japon. C'est l'album Confessions On The DanceFloor qui est promu durant la tournée, toutefois d'anciens titres sont repensés comme Erotica ou Like a Virgin. Les places affichent « Sold Out » en quelque heures.

Le show est pensé en quatre thèmes.

Le show commence par un backdrop où Madonna parle et évolue dans le monde équestre. L'esprit disco se ressent dès l'entrée en scène; elle apparaît dans une boule disco géante qui s'ouvre tel un coeur au milieu du public. L'esprit dominateur est lancé dès Future Lovers remixé avec I Feel Love de Donna Summer. Madonna arrive telle une cavalière, cravache à la main & ses danseurs portent des tenues provocantes se laissant dominés par la Queen. Dans ce thème équestre, on notera l'époustouflante reprise de Like a Virgin sur une scelle géante de cheval.

A peine le temps pour les fans de savourer le premier volet du concert, que Madonna arrive avec provocation pour le thème Bedouin. En effet, elle arrive sur scène crucifiée sur Croix Diso, et portant une couronne d'épine en chantant Live To Tell. Isaac reste très impressionnant et Sorry rappelle l'esprit disco du concert.

Le troisième thème insuffle une énergie démoniaque. En effet après la vidéo interlude Sorry ou Madonna provoque avec des images chocs (la religion, la politique & l'environnement), le thème Rock se retrouve à l'honneur. Elle arrive déchaînée sur I Love New York, en passant par Ray Of Light ou encore l'époustouflante prestation sur Let It Will Be. Le tableau se termine avec une Queen plus intimiste avec son public, notamment sur Drowned World et Paradise (not for me).

Pour la partie finale, qui se veut très disco, Madonne arrive au milieux des patins à roulettes sur le célèbre Music, tel un As du dancefloor. Le final Hung Up cloue un spectacle hors norme. Comme dans le clip, elle danse sur une radio lumineuse et fait chanter le public. Le show se terminera par une pluie de ballons géante et le message "Have You Confessed" qui marquera les esprits.

Anectodes

Jean Paul Gaultier a créé des costumes évolutifs, notamment pour le thème disco; la cape qui s'illumine sur Lucky Star ou encore le body au couleurs de ABBA caché sous un pantalon pattes d'eph' et veste blanche.

Dès le lancement de la tournée, les fans sont conquis. De même, Madonna défie les médias et crée le buzz, avec notamment son entrée sur la croix, et son interlude Sorry (Remix) bourrée d'images chocs.

Tous les dates sont marquées par des commentaires de Madonna, des speechs, des images, gravées dans les esprits des fans. De même, lors de sa venue à Paris, Madonna n'a pas hésité à faire venir Lenny Kravitz sur scène pour I Love New York ou encore son changement de coupe de cheveux (perruque blonde platine utilisée pour Jump) pour la dernière date de la tournée, au Japon.

Des manifestations religieuses contre le concerts sont organisées à Rome et à Moscou, lors de la venue de Madonna.

Pendant le concert donné à Moscou, Madonne fait une reprise du célèbre titre; Give Peace A Chance de John Lennon.

Le but de ce concert était de transformer les salles de spectacles & les stades en véritables dancefloor célébrant le disco.

La presse internationale parle du Confessions Tour comme le plus gros événement jamais créé par une artiste féminine.

Tout au long de la tournée, on parle d'un DVD. C'est finalement lors de son passage à Londres que la show va être filmé. Début 2007, le show filmé est diffusé à la TV. La diffusion remporte un franc succès, même si le show est incomplet et que la BBC a interdit le passage en télé de la crucifixion.
Le 29 janvier 2007, le show sort en DVD et Digipack CD + DVD.

Le DVD remporte en 2008, le prix de "Best Long Form Music Video" aux prestigieux Grammy Awards.

Un show époustouflant et intimiste

The Re Invention World Tour est la 6ème tournée de Madonna. La tournée débute sur le sol américain, à Los Angeles, le 24 mai 2004 et se termine à Lisbonne (Portugal), le 14 septembre 2004. Pour cette tournée, Madonna performe son dernier album studio; American Life. Mais elle reprend de d'anciens tubes comme Holiday, Into the Groove, Material Girl ou Express Yourself. Pendant tout le concert, Madonna se veut plus intimiste avec ses fans, en leur parlant fréquemment.

Le show est divisé en cinq thèmes.

The Re - Invention Tour débute avec le backdrop «The Beast Within » signé Steven Klein. Madonna parle de l'apocalypse présentée dans la Bible tout en changeant et réaménageant certaines paroles. Madonna arrive sur scène sur le thème French Baroque (Marie Antoinette) sur le titre Vogue. La chorégraphie et les costumes font échos à sa prestation aux MTV Awards de 1990. Elle chantera aussi l'un de ses plus grand succès; Frozen pendant ce premier thème.

Le deuxième volet du concert se veut très militaire & rock. En effet Madonna débarque sur scène en tenue de camouflage et béret. Elle interprète le titre American Life, au clip très contreversé. Ses danseurs vont défiler en tenue militaires mais aussi religieuses. Une passerelle descend du haut de la surplombant les fans, où Madonna chante et danse. Elle va aussi reprendre d'anciens tubes sur ce thème militaire; le célèbre Express Yourself ou encore Material Girl.

Le troisième volet est placé sous le thème du cirque. Après une interlude très dansante sur Hollywood, Madonna arrive sur scène en body rayé rouge et blanc. Elle donnera la note sur Hanky Panky, mais aussi sur Die Another Day, signant une époustouflante prestation.

Le quatrième thème du Re – Invention Tour se veut sans nul doute la partie la plus intimiste du concert. Il s'agit du thème acoustique. Elle enregistra pour ce thème, un backdrop sur le titre: Bedtime Story. Les fans sont conquis encore une fois. Madonna va donner de sa voix sur Don't Tell Me et Like A Prayer. Elle fera d'ailleurs une reprise de Imagine de John Legend. Sur cette reprise, l'émotion est grande & Madonna offre à son public une émotion rare mais execptionnelle. On notera l'énorme coeur émotionnel qui est reproduit sur les écrans de la scène.

Le thème final est lui placé sous les couleurs de l'Ecosse. Ce tableau rappelle son concert de 2001; le Drowned World Tour. Elle débarque sur scène sur le célèbre titre; Into The Groove. Madonna et ses danseurs sont habillés en tenues écossaises (Kilts...). Holiday est la dernière inteprétation du Re – Invention Tour, elle se veut donc magistrale. Elle entraîne les fans pour qu'ils chantent et dansent avec elle. La passerelle est à nouveau utilisée et tous les drapeaux du monde sont représentés sur les écrans géants de la scène. Le show se cloue sur l'expression« Reinvent Yourself ».

Anecdotes

De nombreux costumes ont été conçu par la talentueux couturier français: Christian Lacroix, ainsi que la talentueuse styliste Arianne Phillips.

Avant que la tournée ne commence, Madonna a répété de nombreux titres de son répertoire avant de faire un choix pour 24 titres. De plus, avant de s'appeler The Re-Invention World Tour, il se murmurait que la tournée s'appellerait Babylone World Tour pour faire référence à la prostituée de Babylone, personnage présent dans l'Apocalypse.

Pendant ses différents concerts sur le sol américain, Madonne invitera ses fans à aller voir Farheneit 9/11, film de Michael Moore.

Ce DVD fait figure de documentaire puisqu'il fait écho aussi à la vie quotidienne de Madonna ainsi que ses opinions politiques et spirituelles.

Ce documentaire a été réalisé par Jonas Akerlund. Il a été commercialisé le 20 juin 2006, il est disponible en CD-DVD ainsi qu'en téléchargement numérique sur la toile.

En 2004, la tournée Re-Invention World Tour a remporté le prix de meilleure tournée par Billboard.
